Stay over at friend's house

Before I continue, please be warned that there will be no 18sx content in this post...

These 5 words used in my title are best described as an activity or an entertainment... Be it friends coming over my house , or I go over their house for a full night just to hang out and have fun..

It's always good to have a company to fill in the bore-ness, since young I use to do this alot.. It does not only apply to kids, even teenagers and adults do this too... In my perspective, it is all for the fun sake and it's no big deal sleeping at other people's house..

Last night I went for my brother's friend (James) small birthday celebration.. These boys were drinking Carlsberg on the playground and most of them were drunk fooling around... Until James mother need to come out from the house to control the situation... I had a little chat with her and I feel that she's kinda nice, sporting and funny.. Well she gave a good first impression at least...

Before the party ends, James's friends wanted to stay over at his house because they are feeling a little tired and lazy to go home... When James's mother heard of it, she quickly rejected the proposal and instantly she added " Everyone has a house and they should go back to their respected house where they belong no matter how late, how crazy they played, how far they go... I'll send all of you back with my car, no need to stay over"

Her face expression changed, she looked really serious.. I asked her " What's the big deal Aunty, it's just some guy common thing to have sleepover night...

She said " NO NO!!!! I am a parent, and as a parent I'm always worried for my childrens bla bla bla.."

Ok, I lost interested in her and even my first impression... Because I hate overprotective parents .... Ugh sick of them....

When I compare my mom and James's mom, definitely I have much more "freedom" than James.... Of course I know my mom is worried when I sleep over at friend's house, but that's years ago thing when handphones weren't everywhere... Now, all I need to do is to give her voice report from time to time to ease her worries, just to let her know my location and what I'm doing.. God dam easy...

I'm not sure how many parents are reading this blog, but too bad if I offended you, that's just the way I think...

So do you stay over at friend's place?? How do you convince your parents to allow you to go??

Mix the Wrong Ones...

A while ago when I got addicted to computer games again in Johor, I travel to town quite a number of times... All those journey most of them I took cabs, the same taxi everytime..

So I got very chatty and talked to that uncle (50+ years old) everytime when I'm on his taxi.. Most of the time we will share a little bit of ourselves, he'll tell me about his experiences, jobs, stuffs and vice versa...

Nothing out of the ordinary except for this one which kinda caught my attention...

I raised the topic about clubs and alcohol... The way how we youngsters drink alcohol compare to overseas people.... In here, we used to mix alcohol with the most common one COKE/Sprite/7-up or any other gas drink... Follow by green tea, plain water or beer....

The more you drink, the more you can withstand the level of alcohol... Slowly the portion of Alcohol will be more than the portion of other stuffs mixed in a cup... Foreigners doesn't do this, they can drink a 40% alcohol just like that without mixing anything ( 1 shot 2 shots)... That's why I salute them in a way though....

So this uncle responded me by saying " You really must be careful what you mix.. It's ok if you like to mix water or whatever, just be careful not to mix with the wrong stuffs...." he continued " if let's say you are not careful, you ter-eat durian and you drink alcohol, the next day you could probably end up dead!!"

I was like wtf Uncle you serious??

He said "Yea, it doesn't need many, just 2 biji of durians into your stomachs and few cups of alcohol, you can sleep for eternity... There are many things you should be careful when you mix, not everything can be mixed together.. That one is a very good example.."

I told Uncle " Hmmm, well mangosteen would be the perfect fruit to counter durian.."

Uncle : " Indeed it is, but on the other way round, trying putting some sugar on mangosteen and see what happens to it"

I was like stunned... I never do experiments on those things, after all these are his experience... But I'm really curious to know what happens if these can't-be-match things are being matched together...

If anyone is interested to try out, do try at your own risk k?? But I hope you will tell me what happens after you do try it :)

Settings my Priorities Crooked

Months ago when I started this blog, once in a while I'll complain about myself this and that... Then my fellow blogger friends will share with me their opinions, one of them pin-point the exact flaw in me, which is something like this..

"Jerry, you just don't know how to put priorities straight.. (The opposite of straight is Crooked, that explains my title for this entry).. For everything else, you're doing fine"

I guess he had a point there... I can't remember who said that but this thing just came into my mind.... Well, dam right he is..

So, about the flaw... My main Priority is Computer... Follow by the rest Family ; Brothers ; Friends ; Study... They are not in order, just that I'm pretty sure computer is the main one...

Priority being at position # 1 means that the time spent on it will definitely be way much longer compare to others, hence I won't be able distribute my time evenly with other priorities..

Nothing seems to be able to defeat the Computer Priority except for Money... Fact that I'm freaking broke now leaves me no choice but to devote myself into work, my main Priority has been replaced with Money (work), follow by Computer and the rest... I'm not complaining anything, just that I really need that money for further use....

The time now is 5.45 am, I just got back from work .. Yes I sell ass for money o.o Pretty much exhausted though but here I am writing this entry...

See the thing is I haven been replying comments and dropping comments in any blogs..

I do read your blogs, just that I didn't drop comment.... My deepest apologies to you all...

I wanted to be like the rest of the students, enjoying their holiday with lots of sleep, vacation, hang outs, clubbing and fun... I don't want this Money minded thingy to come in between all these fun I'm suppose to have, so whenever I'm "free", I'll try to fill in my time with some company as long as they don't give me headaches and problems...

Gdnite readers.....
