Friends or Friendship that is, a word which has so many define or undefined meaning in it... It is all up to an individual's perspective....
Quantity and Quality, which ever side you are standing, both have equal importance in anyone's life...
Quantity means that you have alot of friends, every where you go you'll be sure to bum into some friends, whether they are close to you or jus some hi bye friends... This is good as in friends are the ones that "supply" or offer you with Kang Tao in life... Some find it troublesome to have so many of them, some call it a LIFE... In my opinion, these people who have alot of friends, I consider them very socializing ... A very good example is my friend here Leumao (You know what I mean)..
Quality means very very close friend of yours, he is the one that understands you, knows you well and you spend most of the time together hanging out... It's not easy to find some quality friends because in life especially adults, people wear a mask everyday and you won't know their true faces until the day you fall..... You be the judge k..
Hence this generate a question from my mind, how do you categorize the "age" of a friendship, is he a quality or a quantity friend of yours??
Lets say you know this person for so many years or since very young age... You both grow up together, both know each other's capability and flaws so well...
Next thing you'll know is that another person showed up and you both became friends too, after knowing him for one year, you might just start comparing this new guy with that friend you have been with for 30 years...
What does it take to be your BestFriend?? How does it feel to have a childhood friend growing up together, doing everything together as if they are blood brother??
I never had this kind of feeling for such a long time now... Every friend I know is like a train, they stop and they go... Perhaps its my personality or what??

Err..... My best friend, I only knew him for less than a year then we become buddies already, now entering 4th year of our friendship. Live is about give and take. Do you always wait for people to come to you and you're the passive one? That could be the reason too. :) But maybe it's just compatibility also geh. Coz me and my best friend don't really have much mutual interest also but we still talk at least every week in MSN. He is straight tim. :) LOL, before I edited this, the verification word was "farth".
Erm... But doesnt mean that you know a person for long time will be your quality fren... Maybe someone you kno for half a year only also can become quality fren... It depends on the fate la!!! honest to you, i also dun have much quality fren... but no need to care more about it... just be fren and hang out with them... As long as you are happy~!
yeah, totally agree that a quality friend does not mean a old time friend.
IMO, is the person that matters, when you "click" you "click". When you don't "click", you just won't even if you know them from the day you were born.
My closest friends I knew them only recent years, so grateful to have them ^^

i have a lot of touch n go friends, but i also have a lot of close friends from primary school (then go to secondary school together) that i still keep in touch with; its the group of friends i hang out with...
note that i have significantly reduced outings with gay friends... i have my own reasons.. but not because of the people...

'Age of a friendship'? The one you know since childhood is 'old age, old long friend', the one you just befriended is 'new age,new friend'. But old or new, when two friends click very well, the age doesn't matter anymore XD
