Is that consider an excuse for people to make mistakes??
I'll give you an example...Me and my neighbour's house (In KL) has a wall in between our house. So yesterday my mom called me and say, the neighbour accidentally stepped the (while reverse) pedal too hard and reverse too much until she bang the wall, and the whole wall collapse... So now our house is like a one big house because there's no divider in between...
This mistake is consider still fixable...

It's so easy to say sorry after making a mistake. But sometimes when a mistake is done, the damage is just too big to amend/fix. A second chance won't even help you to survive...
For unfixable type of mistake.. Lets say you work in a big firm, you accidentally deleted all the data in the linked (all departments) external drive... The whole company's files are deleted and there's no way to recover back the files (I did this before)... In the end kena fired...
So do you think when people made a mistakes in life, do they deserve a second chance?? Or it is just plain excuse for them to say that ??
PS : I lost my match, I did my best, luck wasn't on my side, and there were uncountable mistakes that occurred....

i think most important is "WHETHER YOU WANT TO GIEV URSELF A SECOND CHANCE, NOT OTHERS"..
win lose is the rule of the game.. better luck next time
cheers
there's always a second chance, but too bad not everyone know how to appreciate second chances...
You deleted something important only before or you really got fired for deleting the whole company's data?
Depends on the mistakes that the person did, if it is accidental or on purpose lo...
sorry to hear that you have lost, better luck next time...
There's gotta be second chances because humans aren't perfect. We all make mistakes. We have to remember that.
Forgive and you shall be forgiven.
Still forgive, but then try to steer clear if you've been severely affected, and let others more qualified to handle them. ^_^
"A good friend who points out mistakes and imperfections and rebukes evil is to be respected as if he reveals a secret of hidden treasure."
Buddha
I think it really depends on the severity of the accident.
i agree with Evann but its also depends on the frequency of ur mistake
People makes mistakes. Everyone does. That is why we are imperfectly perfect. Yay! Sometimes there are more than second chances. We can learn from mistakes =)
I think everyone deserves a second chance! No matter how big the mistake.
Danny - I will give myself a second chance for sure, to try to do better and not to repeat it again.. But then, what I mean is forgiveness from others wo, not myself haha..
Takashi - You mean they climb over the head and bite u when u give them second chance??
Jonathan - I deleted before I get fired... Thanks for your morale support Jonathan :D
Diego - Everyone has flaws, that's why religion too is flawed... From Angels and Demons ^^
William - Depends, for my case, very hard for me to simply forgive and wipe things off...
Gratitude - So you mean always pointing out other's mistakes is a good thing??
Evann - Really??
Ivan - Example?
Bernard - " Forgive a person No matter how big the mistake" Hmmm, this line... Seems like easier said than done.. For me la
